Such a good book!
This book was everything! I’m so excited to read the second book! One thing I’m not sure I like was starting the book with what the ending will be. Kinda ruined the suspense for me.

Wow, just wow!
Seeing as this was my first experience with bully romance, I only had a slight idea of what I was getting into. That being said, I think I found my new favorite sub-genre!
This book was emotionally intense from beginning to end. Marnye does not start out as a strong MC, she’s had a hard life but still seems to be a sweet, trusting person. Even With her history of bullying, the Idol boys at her new school are on a whole other level. They are cruel, and show no remorse in relentlessly teasing and pranking Marnye. Once the dynamic starts to change, she doesn’t seem to question their motives as much as you would think she should. But I believe this was purposeful, this first book was to set up the rest of the series and to really show her growth from a fragile girl into a strong woman who fights back.
I can’t wait to see how she gets her revenge, the Idol boys better do some serious groveling to even be considered back into her good graces.

“What they don’t know is that the hardest hearts are forged in fire. With their cruelty and their jokes and their laughter, they’ve forged me into something spectacular.”
Ritch boys (and girls) making everybody else feel like peasants. I couldn't stop reading, this is so captivating! Loved it.

Although it’s listed as “new adult”, it felt super young. That was disappointing. And the lead girl was too soft and non confrontational.
LOL what a dumbass
Okay this book is like a watered down sexualized version of the Japanese Manga Hana Yori Dango accept it disgust me comparable because Hana Yori Dango is an intense brilliant piece and this book is a pile piece of moo
I don't care about any of the characters in this book, not even the protagonist, she is a fucking idiot is what she is.
This white girl is dumb as fudge, she get bullied by these guys and she lets that go cause she is in love with all them, they suddenly become nicer to her out of nowhere and she doesn't think maybe it's a trap, THE B*TCH BETRAYS HER ONLY FRIENDS, she is completely foul for what she did to Miranda and Andrew. What happen to her at the end is fucking karma is what it is and no worse that what she deserves.
Like seriously I think I hate our MC more than I hate the guys and that's saying something

GOSH DAMN
This book was easily one of the top five darkest ones I’ve read with bullying. And omg was it good.
Marnye is honestly one of my favorite FMC. She is strong and resilient. Life literally keeps on drop kicking her and she continues to pick herself up.
She’s the perfect FMC who portrays that when in your darkest moment yes you can give up but if your strong enough you keep on fighting and that is exactly what she does.
I love Miranda and Andrew hopefully they can forgive Marnye cause she truly wasn’t trying to hurt them.
F*ck the idols. Especially the females and their little posey. They’re the textbook definition of entitled rich spoiled little b*tches who don’t work for anything and expect everyone to follow their beck and call cause of who they are and how much money their daddies have.
This book is literally how the richest people (in most cases) view anyone who had to actually work their butts off for things in their lives. People who are poorer than them.
Ugh. I love this series.
Favorite quote “The hardest hearts are forged in fire; the weakest bend under their will. And revenge … is wicked sweet.”
Marnye girl I’d have your back!
