The world building is really janky. Random characters pop in and out with "secrets histories" but you don't learn about them, or don't care. There are definitely better will they/won't they romance mangas.

Personally not my cup of tea, comes across as very rapey/coersive and the male lead has basically zero regard for Liddy and anything she thinks and says.
