Diving right onto the mess from the end of the previous installment, this book takes a surprising turn and it is up to Ivy and her friends to puzzle out what they are up against before it is too late! Maybe the tragedy did have a benefit after all as the city works together as never before. They are forced to deal huge societal changes and a nightmare from their past. Oh and some really sweet romantic moments are stolen here and there.
Again, I enjoyed seeing Ivy and Gaia interacting together and the unique perspective this adds to the story! The ending was similar to all the previous arc in this series with the immediate threat contained, but a bigger one still brewing. The golden eyed orphans are heading off to Urbis - but wait, the group seems to be taking a detour to OZ! I've been looking forward to this one.
