I'm not normally a fan of wordless books but this one was too sweet to pass up. It's essentially a story about loss and the humanity of losing something. It's very touching and even made me a little sad, but hopeful.

A little girl finds a dog wandering outside her apartment building, and takes him in. From the missing poster in her room, we learn that she lost a dog a while ago that she misses very much. The girl and the new dog's relationship starts off slow, but soon she loves him too. When she finds his picture on a missing poster and learns his name is Roscoe, she knows she should give him back, but doesn't want to. Will she do the right thing?

This book really gets your emotions going, both happy and sad, but I loved its illustrations and its heart.

A beautiful wordless story about a young girl who finds a dog while still grieving over her own lost dog.

A wordless picture book about a lost dog who is found by a little girl. She sees a poster about a lost dog and she is faced with a difficult decision. I loved this and the beautiful illustrations.
