Hmmm I didn't really like this book. I just read it to get through it. The characters were fine but since it was about terrorism at the moa and airports it was kinda weird/difficult to read about. Not a reread

This was my first book by Alex Kava.
I found it a bit meh. There were parts of it where I was wondering why it is part of the book, this info does not pertain to the story at all. It took ages to get going and when it finally did the end just happened without much of a build up or wrap up.
It wasn't particularly bad, but the comment on the cover stating that Kathy Reichs and Patricia Cornwell should move over is definitely an overstatement of how good the book is. If you are looking for something fast moving and exciting, don't read this book. If you just want to read something and you happened to have this book on hand it's not the worst way to pass the time.

Didn't understand why this book was written and too many pages were wasted!
Maggie doesn't do anything special at all!

How could a book about domestic terrorism, mercenaries and bombings be so boring?

Solid Maggie O'Dell story. Trying to catch up in the series.
