A better mystery this time. It's Harvest festival time and Win is dragged into investing another murder. The ending seems rushed and didn't really answer some questions.

The new narrator wasn't great. Very flat and pronounced Cuyahoga incorrectly. I enjoyed the first two, but probably won't continue this series.

🚨 Warning this book will make you want to eat ice cream🚨
Once again, Win gets sucked right into solving a murder, despite her best efforts to stay out of it. Win has a great support system and her family's ice cream shop is taking off, but all she thinks about is work (this may bother me more than the normal person because teachers can get like this and you just want to tell them to calm down and take a personal day). This is book three of the series, and the whole reluctant detective trope is old and annying at this point. Since Win was so reluctant to investigate (I literally had the murder picked by page 50), it gets her into situations where she is AGAIN left in a dangerous position.
I think I would be hesitant to pick up the next book in the series unless I had some indication that she was going to fully embrace her inner Sherlock Holmes.
