The heroine is hilarious. All romance readers need a librarian like Angie. It was a fun ride. There were moments I didn’t like but Olivia Dade is a champion of consent and sorting out miscommunication. Well done. Looking forward to more librarian romance.

Olivia Dade's characters are all fantastic but Angie really gives no fucks on another level, the humor in this one is extra, and the amount of sex scenes in the public library really make me ask myself some questions.

A sweet and sexy book about finding love and acceptance!

This was...not the best. Particularly as a librarian. I would recommend a lot of her other books before this one.

Better written than the first one and enjoyable enough, but it was hard to get past the premise.
1. I'm sorry, but having sex in the children's room of a public library is just ick on so many levels. I ignored it in the first book in the series, but it's impossible to do so here.
2. There are excellent reasons why managers and the employees who they supervise should not be in relationships.
3. I don't think the solution would fly in most American public libraries.

I'm such a huge fan of Olivia Dade, I was super delighted to see my library had acquired a couple more titles in the Lovestruck Librarians series.
I did enjoy this book, but it didn't quite match my expectations. No doubt my expectations were a little unrealistic because this was one of her first published books.
I normally hate boss-employee romances because of the power dynamic, but this one worked for me because they didn't know they were boss and employee when they first got together. I liked the two main characters, but I'm finding in these early books some of the plot devices are a bit... transparent? Overly orchestrated? I don't know. It was ok.

Olivia Dade took my view of libraries and librarians in a whole new direction. Staid and regimented Grant and free thinking but goodhearted Angie set the books on fire in My Reckless Valentine. What I liked about this story is that there were personality differences, job stipulations and life struggles that weighed heavily on these peoples lives. Yet despite it all they find freedom when together. This story stirs up a great many feelings but is largely about learning accept a person flaws and all. Falling in love breaks all the rules but pays off in the end. I received an ARC of My Reckless Valentine in exchange for an honest review.

This was a fun book. Once I saw that this was part of the "Lovestruck Librarians" series I knew I had to read it. I think this is going to be a really fun series to read, I already like the characters and can't wait to read the next one. Thankfully, my local online library has most of the books.

Requires a healthy suspension of disbelief and rolling with some strong insta-love but I still thoroughly enjoyed this fun and steamy read. Exactly what I was hoping for.
