Once again, what a wild ride this series is.
Chaos at Prescott High, the second book in the Havoc Boys series, picked up right where Havoc at Prescott High, the first book, had left off.
Just to recap, the story follows Bernadette, a total baddie with some serious emotional baggage, as she tackles her senior year at Prescott High and seeks vengeance on all te people that wronged her and fucked up her life by way of the feared Havoc boys—Hael, Aaron, Victor, Oscar, and Callum.
Those on Bernie's take-down list are getting their due little by little. 3 out of the 7 have now been officially crossed off, 4 if we're counting the Principal, and now only the women remain, which I find to be an interesting detail.
This second book was as racy as ever, but I'm glad we're getting a bit more communication between Bernardette and the guys so all the sexual tension and chemistry can be complemented with something a little deeper. They're also very slowly starting to maybe learn how to share? I think there's hope for group scenes yet LOL
And the wedding is now over and done with! Crazy plot point, that one. But it's sure to bring drama with a capital D now that Victor is that much closer to snatching his inheritance right out of his witch of a mother's hands. Mommy dearest is not gonna be pleased about all that money slipping through her greedy fingers.
Chaos at Prescott High was not perfect, but it was a fun time. If you’re into dark romance with a hefty dose of danger, a generous amount of vengeance, and some seriously steamy moments, this one delivered.

Group dynamics getting better. Plot is batshit. Overall just ok
hard to get past the fact that they're all high schoolers trying to take on "the system" and also gang rulers...while being in high school...they're TEENAGERS

Unflippingbelievable... In the best possible ways!
So flipping amazing... I can’t count the number of times my heart stopped and restarted or the number of times I messaged my bestie like do you see this?! Next level... CM ALWAYS manages to level up every single time. I can’t wait for Mayhem!
