Wow

CM never disappoints! I can’t wait for book 3. I love Bernie so much and glad she is finally some peace in her life! Also love the little snippet of Devils Day Party!

These books are so violent but then why wouldn't they be. Man I feel sorry for all of these kids and how they have to grow up too fast to just be themselves.

Wasn’t sure how to feel about this one. I enjoyed the first one just enough to keep going honestly but instead of the series improving it went downhill for me.
I love the guys and they’re the only reason I felt the need to keep reading. Bernadette is so annoying. She’s constantly conflicted about the guys and practically refuses to let them in even though they all share this love, which hasn’t really been supported by the back story- and what I mean by that is, sure they’ve all know each other for a long time but their interactions when they were younger are such small encounters and hardy intimate at all and they just seem to love her after one flashback of being near each other..? If that makes sense?
And every time she’s battling with herself about if this is what’s right, she decides its where she’s supposed to be and they’re this family but will STILL refuse to express her true feelings or have a conversation with any of them and then the cycle just repeats.
The amount of repetition of descriptions is also kind of hard to look over. I swear every time Vic is described she has to mention his ebon eyes. Small detail, yes, but hard to not notice how many times it’s mentioned. And this is just one example.
I hate dnf-ing a book or series but after finishing this one and reading reviews on the next installments I don’t think I’m going to continue. I was still interested in the guys by the end of this book but I don’t think I can push through 3 more books of the writing or Bernie’s thoughts and actions. I need more depth/ intimacy between the characters and it just hasn’t been there imo because she refuses to have serious conversations or even act on the love she claims to have for them.
If it gets better in your opinion, let me know. I am willing to pick up the next one if you think it improves but for now, I just don’t think this series is for me.

I don't have much to say for NOW ... I'll wait for the last moment. I love this so much

Way better that the first one!

Wow! So good! Honestly the first one took me a week or so just to get halfway through. This one...I just couldn’t stop reading! Excited for the next one!

I am hooked on this storyline!! The flashbacks from the boys was a great touch! Really allowed us to see inside those twisted minds. They all do everything for Bernie and she does everything for them. Loved It!

“I’ve always known what I’ve wanted, and it wasn’t just the V in Havoc; it was every letter in their wicked, little alphabet.”

Pero, against all odds, me gustó.

First and foremost: Victor fucking Channing. Infumable.

Literalmente le dice a Bernie “Victor doesn’t treat you well. None of them do. Why do you reward them with your affection? It disturbs me, Bernadette” y la verdad que same.
