This second book really starts to heat up the spice and violence!
This was another great instalment in the series and the multi MC POVs helps to give us more insight into the guys and why they are so broken. I really enjoyed the spice and violence ramp up.

Wasn’t sure how to feel about this one. I enjoyed the first one just enough to keep going honestly but instead of the series improving it went downhill for me.
I love the guys and they’re the only reason I felt the need to keep reading. Bernadette is so annoying. She’s constantly conflicted about the guys and practically refuses to let them in even though they all share this love, which hasn’t really been supported by the back story- and what I mean by that is, sure they’ve all know each other for a long time but their interactions when they were younger are such small encounters and hardy intimate at all and they just seem to love her after one flashback of being near each other..? If that makes sense?
And every time she’s battling with herself about if this is what’s right, she decides its where she’s supposed to be and they’re this family but will STILL refuse to express her true feelings or have a conversation with any of them and then the cycle just repeats.
The amount of repetition of descriptions is also kind of hard to look over. I swear every time Vic is described she has to mention his ebon eyes. Small detail, yes, but hard to not notice how many times it’s mentioned. And this is just one example.
I hate dnf-ing a book or series but after finishing this one and reading reviews on the next installments I don’t think I’m going to continue. I was still interested in the guys by the end of this book but I don’t think I can push through 3 more books of the writing or Bernie’s thoughts and actions. I need more depth/ intimacy between the characters and it just hasn’t been there imo because she refuses to have serious conversations or even act on the love she claims to have for them.
If it gets better in your opinion, let me know. I am willing to pick up the next one if you think it improves but for now, I just don’t think this series is for me.

DNF 30%
This is the first book/series in 250+ books that I have DNF’d. Usually I skim or push through and I just can’t with this series. Maybe I’ll come back to this series someday but just didn’t grab my attention.

Enjoyed #1 but not as into #2. Just moved onto other books. And in general, more into romantasy.
In Chaos we continue Bernie’s journey for vengeance with Havoc at her back. Along the road of vengeance, Bernie is dealing with her feelings towards the guys as well. She did annoy me with her hot and cold attitude but I can overlook that.
The world they live in is full of violence and outside forces are coming for the crew now. It’s full of chaos.

She did it again!!
Where do I even start? I love all the HAVOC boys so much!! I can't wait for the next book I'm so glad they are moving on down the list though ugh that last one was a long time coming!! I actually didn't devour this book in one day I wanted to savor it haha. The details are wicked the Kali thing was wow twist I didn't see for sure Mitch is an idiot and needs to take the blinders off. Callum is a dream as well as Aaron. Vic is a nutball Oscar is a conundrum and that leaves hael well he's deep but damn funny and so so hot!! The chemistry the author created is insane I don't want this series to end ever!!

This book was amazing! I thought the first book in the series was awesome as well, but so far each book just gets better. This is only the second series that I’ve read by the author, but I am in love. I love her writing style and how dynamic all of her characters are. For example; at the beginning of the Havoc series I kind of hated the boys but they have most definitely grown on me. I just started Mayhem a couple hours ago and I’m about half way through already.
