While I enjoyed this book, it felt like it was lacking something that I can’t quite put my finger on. It felt almost like I was reading and waiting while the victims finally died so I could find out who was the killer in the end, rather than wanting to read on because of the suspense/plot.

This was actually a very well told story in regards to characters and dialog but I could see the plot twists coming from a mile away so it made the story less enjoyable for me.

My mother used to devour these books! Why it never occurred to me to also read these, that’s another mystery!

I actually googled for “reading your first Agatha Christie, which one to start?” - because she has written SO MANY!
This one is highly recommended.

Short fast chapters.
You want to flip those pages to see how twelve strangers and up on an island and then…
I didn’t see it coming! Did you?
