the first 36 pages were hard to get through & I thought I‘d never be able to remember/tell the characters apart anyway. Then it got more interesting, a lot more fast-paced (& I actually knew who was who) and although I still don’t like the writing style - I know it’s a classic & was written more than 80 yrs ago but still - it was overall not bad and the ending surprised me

Despite all the good reviews on this book, I found it extremely disappointing. It was really hard to keep track of what was going on in the plot-line and I didn’t care what was going on to the characters at all. I only really liked how the author added their madness deepening.
