As a musician, a dreamer, and an Enneagram 4, this autobiography is everyone I have ever wanted in a book. Dave Grohl is a perfect storyteller, weaving tales that I could literally imagine being part of. His passion for music and verse are evident on every page. Plus the book furthers my belief that Grohl is a truly humble and grounded guy that I would love to have a beer with.

This was probably the best memior I've ever read, or listened to. Dave Grohl's storytelling had me gripped onto every word. I'm not much of an audiobook person since I feel like I can't retain much of the story and I zone out. However, this book kept me engaged and motivated to clean my entire downstairs.
Dave is a master at weaving his childhood stories with his adult life making it easy to keep track of despite not being told in chronological order.

Have been in a reading slump for five months, and I’m pretty sure this book just clicked me out of it.
Words can’t explain how much I love Dave Grohl
