You can't come away from this book without loving Dave Grohl more than you did previously. If anything, this book just displays how humble and down to Earth the man is. In any scene that another (equally as famous) celeb is present, he cannot believe that it is happening to him or that he has been given the opportunity. It is equally as sad to hear him talk about Kurt Cobain, and now (unwittingly), Taylor Hawkins, as he really, truly saw them both as brothers.

If you are a fan of the Foo Fighters, or just music in general, I think that you will enjoy this book.

I had put this book on hold at the library and then realized he read the audiobook and quickly switched my hold. This was a joy to listen to, as a long time fan of Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters I figured I would love this, but it really exceeded my expectations. He really is a great storyteller and so entertaining, and his stories are actually interesting and relevant, especially if you are a lover of music- particularly punk and rock, there's just so much music history in this book. I haven't laughed out loud and cried so much during a book in a while. There's also a spotify playlist of all the songs and bands he references in this book, it's a lot!
