This is a very interesting read. I have heard of this story long before I picked it up. I am aware of the characters, but know nothing about the in between. At one point, it's a good story. But a part of me wanted more logical explanation as to how and why such thing occur. I needed more, I wanted more.

Other than the story itself, there is a thought provoking idea that left me wondering about the lesson of this story. And that aspect of the story left me satisfied with how the story wrapped up.

What a brilliant story.

This is a tale that is well known by many, and also somewhat polarizing about a lawyer and his friend Dr. Jekyll and the mysterious and unusual events that happen around him, often dealing with a man named Mr. Hyde. This story details the events and investigation into them.

I wasn't so sure I was completely sold on this at first, but once I reached the end I realized the brilliance of it all. I loved the philosophy and really thought-provoking nature of this book and the suspense was excellent.

This is definitely one I plan on revisiting in the future.

Eccellente romanzo breve, un classico senza tempo che esplora con una certa sottintesa dolcezza la dualità dell'animo umano e l'eterno conflitto tra bene e male.

Sebbene conoscessi il punto principale della trama, ovvero che

Mr. Hyde fosse il doppio malvagio del dottor Jackyll

, la vicenda è raccontata in modo incredibilmente avvincente. A tale coinvolgimento contribuisce anche un coprotagonista, il polveroso avvocato Utterson, che oltre a risultare subito simpatico e quasi goffo nel suo destreggiarsi tra gli eventi singolari di cui si compone la vicenda è un eccellente esempio di quell'umana grigezza morale che

Jackyll ripugnerà con il suo esperimento di separazione

"Lo strano caso del dottor Jackyll e di Mr Hyde" è dunque un testo che consiglio vivamente a tutti, soprattutto per l'incredibile forza con cui riesce a trasmettere, in poco più di un centinaio di pagine, l'enigma morale che affligge ogni esistenza umana.
