I wouldn’t read the introductions until after finishing the story. But even though my Victorian vocab sucks, it was still a fast paced read

very impressed by mr stevensons writing. I got so into this I lost a good amount of time without even noticing. the story is dark and horrific, and I love how it extends to the descriptions of the surroundings. very interested to keep reading more of his works. also is anyone gonna do a queer analysis of this or am I gonna have to do it myself?
