Actually loved them, they were really cute and their chemistry was so nice to read. Their conversations flowed and I really believed their relationship.

The tropes are troping. But like too much. The “too big I can imagine it” and “you’re so tiny I need to take care of you” is soooo off putting to me. Especially for books about “STEMinists”. Like can you make one of these women in stem have a confident personality?? But also was entertained so that’s how it still got 3 stars.

2 stars. One for the spice and one for Erik. Kinda. That one is not so safe as Erik was sus sometimes.

But Sadie? Omg. Can´t. Stand. Her. If you cannot handle second hand embarassement do not read this novella. Just skip it. The spice was quite good, but not worth it.

I liked her inner dialogue, very fanfic esque writing, overall a good mid book to read for your Goodreads goal

Another great Ali Hazelwood read. Different from book 1, each chapter rotates between past and present. This hooked me because converging timelines is one of my favorite writing styles. Ali has again mastered the communication trope. The anger felt by the FMC was based on a logical assumption. The MMC has many admirable qualities. SWOON.

This is my favorite of the STEMinist novellas.
