I appreciated that this was a true mystery, written with some classic form. Overall I was just anticipating a bit more humor, and I just wasn't that invested or interested in this particular mystery itself.

Thoughts: Funny. Interesting structure. About 100 pages in lots of characters and a bit confusing and just couldn’t get it all straight.

This one was really fun to read! The lead and storyteller, Ernest, tells the story directly to the reader (breaking that fourth wall, so to speak). He speaks directly to us and references incidents in the book by page number.
It's a twist on a murder mystery. Ernest writes books about how to write detective/mystery books, which is what he feels qualifies him to tell them story.
Set over the course of a family reunion, Ernest finds himself trying to solve a few mysteries.

I found it a bit confusing at times, but it call came full circle in the end. So much foreshadowing, which Ernest made sure you knew was intentional, and had a lot of humour.
