This book was quite slow at the start, focusing a lot on character development and world building. I still really enjoyed the book overall but would have liked it to move a little fast for the first say 3rd of the book. The combination of sci-fi, fantasy and dystopian was done well. I also really enjoyed that it was from multiple POVs including a couple of the side characters POVs. The storyline was good, I was invested in the characters journeys and outcomes; and I also thought that the resolution to the main conflict was great.
