Cyra zasługuje na nagrodę dla najsilniejszej głównej bohaterki. To ile ona przeszła i nadal się nie poddawała wywołało u mnie morze łez. To jak cały czas pragnęła być chciana i potrzebna, jak codziennie zmagała się z ogromnym bólem, to ile osób straciła, jak została oszukana, a i tak udało jej się znaleźć w sobie tą siłę i zwyciężyć jest po prostu niesamowite. Zdecydowanie więcej osób powinno poznać jej historię.
Yes i liked and enjoyed this book but it just took me a bit to get into but i pushed on despite it taking me 3 months to finish because i need to know how it ended. I need to see the ending of Cyra and Akos story.
This is one of my all time favorite books I’ve ever read. Both of the parts were amazing. I haven’t read many books in my life but I definitely can say that it would be hard to ever top that. The story is written pretty, everything was well thought and the characters were just amazing. Hope to read more books like that in the future.
After rereading:
I don’t feel the same way I used to feel three years ago. It is still good but after reading so many book I feel like it lacks something.
The characters are great. I love the character development and the friendships/ found family. I have to admit, I was a little bored reading Cisi’s pov. She’s probably the least interesting character to me.
Overall, the book is worth the time I’ve spend on it. I probably won’t read it again in the next few years tho.

I did like this one more than the last one. The creative liberties that Roth took in this book were more impressive and unpredictable than any other book she's written. I'm also pleased she didn't feel the need to end this book with the death of one of the main characters. That feels like growth to me!
