Reread: June 2020
Okay I need to first and foremost talk about how I don’t support JK Rowling as an author or a person at all ever again. I cannot support someone who continues to be against trans rights. I am disgusted by her so much.
I’m not at a place in my life where even though Harry Potter is SUCH a huge part of my life and will always be but the series doesn’t belong at all to her anymore. She doesn’t deserve after being horrible to own her own series ever again. I had started this audiobook reread before everything happened and while I hate her I will continue to reread the series.
I always put the second book lower on my order of favorites I liked it more this time around. I love the audiobooks of this series a lot. I forget all of the changes that they do with the books and movies and it’s sad but it’s what it is.
Reread: December 2015 for #Harryxmas
It has been quite some many years since I've read this. It is definitely still not my top favorite but I of course LOVE it so much. It's crazy when I reread this how much foreshadowing it leads for the rest of the series. It's so much fun rereading these books and the best is the little hints you see.
And duh this is a 5/5 star book. It's glorious!

So fun it’s like CRACK. I feel like I can enjoy the light jokes and humour of the book versus how the movie plays it to be all dark. It maintains the joy and childlike wonder. I love the mystery and the magic world building. Amazing 10/10
