I feel very well fed with this entry in the series. We get some important back story for the main protagonists, touch base with characters introduced earlier that are hinted to have a more significant role in future books, and set up several avenues for next adventures and possibly a villain to last more than one book? 🤨 And of course, banter and hijinks continue. ☺️ This one is particularly cozy in its denouement.🤫

At this point every installment in this series is a comfort read! I always enjoy the mystery, this one was especially unique. It's impressive that the unbelievable concept of murder happening so often in this town just makes sense every time with T.E.Kinsey at the wheel!
I love catching up with Lady Hardcastle and her maid Flo, in every book we get a bit more of their backstory and their characters develop even further. I can't wait for my next visit this quite village, where there is always something afoot and our two female sluthes are up to something new!

Another fun story in this series of cozy murder-mysteries set in England in the early 1900s with 2 wise, capable, and snarky women.

Another solid entry in a series that has a great deal of charm and humor. Kinsey makes sure that the reader has all the information that the characters do to solve the mystery but ultimately that often creates a bit of awkwardness (while we may not get to the solution before the Lady Hardcastle does, we're very aware of the important pieces of evidence that haven't been followed up on and we're waaaaiiiiittttinnnnggg.)
