This started off well enough, with an interesting world and a good rejected mates trope along with a fake dating trope. It became less enjoyable as the writing grew more juvenile. MMC seems to only think with his 🍆 and the FMC is giving outcast overpowered Mary Sue. The dialog gets cringe and the spice was not enjoyable. The audiobook narration seemed to have a pause after EVERY sentence the FMC spoke- I tried a higher speed and it was still noticeable.

A nice stand alone read.

Loved this story! All the times when you think you know what's coming, but it turns out its something else entirely i s what keeps me reading. This was such a easy read. Hated putting it down the couple of times I had to. The story of Danni and her wolf Luna will really melt your heart. I dare you not to want to read more.

I find myself being absolutely obsessed with anything that Kel Carpenter and Aurelia Jane writes. I loved the way that Dannika spoke her mind and how she never backed down from anything. There were so many moments when she had me laughing out loud.

I absolutely adored the connection between Dannika and Elias. I was secretly hoping that someone would stab Markus in the face with a fork (he would have deserved it).

I loved the way that this book ended and I can’t wait to see what these authors do next.

There are a lot of vampire books out there and a lot of werewolf books out there, but there are not a lot of books out there where vampires and werewolves mate one another. This book is unique and the writing style is really great. There was enough sexy time that it kept an adult reader into it, and enough plot that it wasn't overrun by sexy times. The story has a lovely HEA at the end, and lots of action along the way to reach that HEA. Overall I would rate this at a 4.25. I will likely read more by these authors.

I liked this one. Seeing the factions of vampire and werewolves and how they interact. I also liked the combination of modern with fantasy. Had a couple lol moments when she grew the fit and he's like thats my mother.
