Revolution of the Scavengers is a collection of 16 stunning poems by Henneh Kyereh Kwaku.
The collection of the prose poems portrays what it means to be Ghanaian. The poetry shows the author's love for the country and the disgust at the situations that puts its citizens at risk. The writing in the book is heavy with emotions such as anger, despair, and hopelessness. The poems come together to question and criticize governance and leadership.
Henneh questions the consequences of corruption, floods, water shortages, poor roads, and loss of life among others. Revolution of Scavengers reflects contemporary Ghana with its struggles and challenges.
