The illustrations are lovely but the plot doesn’t make sense.
Why did there have to be only one moth keeper doing the jobs alone? Why would people continue to only be awake during the night when they could spend 16 hours a day in both dark and light hours? What was with her mother leaving?
Too many things seemed illogical and didn’t have a strong enough reason as to why they were that day.
