I have read a collection of Aesop's Fables before (as a child) and I found it very interesting. Reading it as an adult is still interesting but I think more suited for kids.
However, there are very good messages coming through and some of them contain life lessons.
This particular collection is very good as it contains a very good selection of the fables.

"The value of an object is in the eyes of the beholder."

excerpts from 'The Cock and the Jewel'
somehow this also reflect about my thoughts about this book. it will be so much more valuable when there are younglings around to listen and teach them about moral framework through the easiest fables for them to understand.

it's uncertain whether in the future I'd get my own childlings. but I'll keep this, just in case.. hihihi

Aesop's Fables. In a shorter form and to the point. Perfect!
