I am not ok with how this ended *crying* what did I ever do to deserve this?!

A lot of previous storylines finally come together and it's a wild ride that I'm not totally sure I enjoyed (see crying above). I feared this day would come and I don't know where to go from here. Maybe after the author's year long hiatus I'll have some needed distance from the devastation that was this volume.

This series holds a special place for me with it's gender-bendiness and diversity of all kinds. There are so many different kinds of relationships depicted, too, often with folks from different "species". And, the relationships feel real and are shown in their softest moments and their moments of grit and discord.

I will always recommend the series to folks, but, truth be told, the end of this volume broke my f*ing heart in two.
