As always Alice Clayton is funny and awesome. I like the body positive part of the book and I love Oscar. Can't wait to read buns.

I loved Wallbanger from Alice Clayton. It was funny and enjoyable read. Therefore I was looking forward to start another story by this author. Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to the expectation, even though there was a lot of...well...cheese. You cannot go very wrong with that. But still. I would rather re-read Wallbanger next time.

I LOVED how sassy the main character was; I feel like Natalie’s story was missing something, though. Natalie told Chad and Logan about Thomas, but not Oscar? Natalie ran into Thomas, but didn’t really say anything and that was the end of it? Her character is so strong throughout the entire book and I feel like she needed a redemption scene with Thomas. I would have loved to see more about Natalie’s parents, since there was a lot of talk about them and how big a part of Natalie’s life they were.

I really love this author's writing and I was so excited for this book - I love the idea of a confident plus-size heroine who doesn't see the fact that she's curvy as an imperfection. Natalie is a very confident heroine and I liked that but my issue is that at times, it seemed she was more arrogant and conceited than just confident. I don't know how many times it was mentioned that she could get any guy she wanted but it was getting super annoying. Also, I really needed Oscar's POV for this one - I had a hard time connecting with him and their relationship. And what was the deal with his ex-wife???? Even still, there was a lot of chemistry between these two and I loved the steamy scenes. Maybe I didn't enjoy this one because I was in a bad mood on the day I read it or maybe I didn't enjoy it because my expectations were too high after reading and loving Nuts. I might try to re-read this one someday to see if my feelings change but as for now I have to say that this book really missed the mark for me.
