Do Me a Favor: A Second Chance, Hilarious Rom Com!
Mile High Matched, Book 4
By: Christina Hovland
Narrated by: Vanessa Edwin, Tim Paige

When Roman returns home after serving in the military, he isn't expecting to see his old flame. Sadie goes to his brother's wedding, and now he knows exactly what he wants. Sadie, an attorney is looking to build her practice as a divorce lawyer. She has no time or desire to get back with Roman. Or does she? The one that got away for both of them leads to so much fun and humor, I laughed all the way through. Sadie is ambitious and has seen so much with her experience as a divorce lawyer. Is it even worth falling in love? And Roman is the perfect man it is impossible not to fall for the warm feelings he has. But the real star of the book and the series is Baboushka, Roman's grandmother. The master manipulator is out to get her great grandchildren and she will stop at nothing. So funny I was laughing out loud. So romantic, I was falling in love. This is a fantastic addition to the series.

Vanessa Edwin and Tim Paige as amazing narrators and each brings so much to this book. Their comedic timing is spot on. Edwin emanates Sadie's feelings, from lust to frustration to love. Paige brings on the heat with is warm tones as Roman. Their voices bring this story to life and it's just so good!

I think that I liked this book more for the crazy characters in it then I did for Rome and Sadie. I did like Rome. I didn't connect with Sadie for some reason. On top of that, I didn't feel a connection between Rome and Sadie. This was a second chance romance where I feel like Sadie didn't give Roman a fair second chance.

At the very beginning of the book, I did feel that chemistry between the two of them. When they reconnected, I felt nothing. Nothing other than Rome was more into her than she was into him. They disconnected on more then one level for me, and I'm not sure why that happened.

The supporting characters were what made this book enjoyable. I think Babushka steals the show in every book. It is always fun to watch her work her magic. It was also nice to get a bit of an update on previous couples.

The good thing is that Rome and Sadie's story does end in an HEA. I would give this 3.5 stars.

I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

This is a love story ten years in the making. After a weekend fling, he, (being the idiot he is) made the biggest mistake of his life by walking away. Returning home for good, he thinks he can start right where they left off.... but she has other ideas. This is a fun story watching him gravel to get her back. Of course getting his grandma in onto his little game may cause him more headaches than good. (But boy of boy is it fun to watch.) There is a lot of humor.. mostly thanks to that grandma. If you have read the other books in the series, you will be happy to see many familiar faces. (But don't worry, each book can be read as a stand alone.) There is some minor sexual content, but it's mostly just referred to and not described in detail. The characters are all funny and smart. It's an easy read and flows smoothly and quickly. It alternates POVs.

*I received an ARC of this book.

I really enjoyed this second chance romance! It has incredible characters that are strong, independent, and well rounded. This is a story with heart, and humor. This read was a page turner for me. This was easy to enjoy as a standalone.
