This was a great crime thriller with a lot of unexpected twists and a strong fatherhood theme. The mysterious butterflies completely caught me off guard! It didn’t grab me like a 5 star but I still highly recommend!

What an entertaining and suspenseful read! The whole time I was reading this book I felt like I was watching a horror film. It was so easy to imagine the characters and the scenes. Some parts I felt like they were a little predictable to me because I’ve watched so many scary movies and read so many books that I feel like I can put the pieces to the puzzle together and know the outcome before the whole picture is revealed. With that being said, there was still a lot of surprise, emotional roller coasters, and thrills. This book was so beautifully written and really pulls at the heart with the father-son relationship.
