Bailey was cool but she whined a lot. Also her little brother was a douche for most of this book.

I don't know about you..but I would've slapped the shit out her little brother. The way he was talking to her.. oh hell, to the no buddy. Who the fudge you think you are talking to? My fist to your mouth.

Other than that, I liked Nathan and I wanted to see him happy. The way he took care of Bailey was adorable. It's sucks that she didn't know how to act around him because she wasn't used to guys acting this sort of way. Then there's the fact with her whole brother who was a douche whenever things didn't go his way. Oh lord, that kid would've gotten beaten up by my family.

Tsk. Tsk.

Luckily for him, he had Nathan to teach how a real man acts towards other people. Especially woman. If I didn't have Nathan in this book.. I probably wouldn't have liked Bailey that much. She whined a lot but I can totally see why. It's all from her past and her crazy ex-boyfriend being out of jail didn't help either.

Other than that, I'm pumped to dive into the next book. WHY?? 'Cause it's about Felicity!! I want to know more about her background - plus the half brother is pretty mysterious.

Great Story the best in the series

What if what you did as a teenager is not what you want now that you're adult and raising your little brother? Bailey was able to take her brother and run away from the Inca Boyz Gang before they can get their claws into her brother. She settles into Castle Rock , finds a job as a mechanic and hopes she's escaped in time to save her brother, Joel.

Nathan Anderson is the self proclaimed computer nerd of Ace Security and meets Bailey when his car Marilyn give up the ghost. She helps him get her started but he's been hit hard by Cupid's arrow even though he knows she wouldn't feel the same about him. When the brothers find out that Donovan has been released from prison early and go into protection mode to give Bailey and Joel the security they will need. When Donovan finds them it will take Nate, Bailey and Joel safe while taking out the leader of Inca Boyz Leader.

Bailey wants to give Joel a better life than she had growing up after her father passed away. When she gets to Castle Rock and finds a job with Clayson's Auto Body as a mechanic little does she realize that she will gain the family she craves from the guys there. When she meets Nathan she doesn't realize that Ace Security helped put Donovan away and that Nathan will do everything to protect her and Joel. Can they both find love and keep the gang away from Joel?

There's a teaser at the end that will have you saying hmm..I didn't see that coming and will set up the final book with Felicity and Ryder's story.

This series starts out with brothers who are triplets, so I wanted to get through all three of their HEAs. I cannot put my finger on what is not clicking for me with this series. The concept/storylines are interesting. The characters are lovable and make you want to root for them. I’m just not getting why they are falling flat. I will try to put down some of my thoughts about this book.

There were times I would sink into the narrative and other times it felt basic. I don’t know if that makes sense. Maybe juvenile is a better word? Although this story deals with some intense situations and the intimate moments are definitely not behind closed doors, there was an immaturity to the text at times. Plus, it leaned heavily on the “she’s not like other girls” and “magic p***y” ideas, and that came across as ick in this case.

On the other hand, I loved the chemistry Bailey and Nathan had. Nathan also had fantastic chemistry with Bailey’s young brother. The scenes with Nathan and Joel are wonderful and show the depth of Nathan’s character.

There are two more books in the series and already love the characters. As I said, she writes great characters. I’m waffling about if I’m going to continue the series hoping the lackluster will turn to the more interesting as it is in her later books I’ve read, or give it up and try another of her series that’s a bit more current. These aren’t terrible, by any means. Yet there are so many books out there for me to get to.

Awww.

One of the few instances where I liked the nerdy, somewhat insecure guy. The author wrote Nathan perfectly, though because even when that side came out, he still seemed manly. Great story.

Actually think this was the best in this series so far.

Less gang stuff and more about their romance so it felt a little bit more romance than before. Loved Nathan as well he was cute and funny. Probably the best hero in this series so far.
