I really enjoyed this collection! I'm usually not that into short stories, but Sarah Shun-Lien Bynum sucked me in with each one. A couple stories took me a while to unpack the meaning of, but for the most part I felt clued in by her crisp writing laden with juicy subtext. I especially liked the stories that explored themes of girlhood, "Many a Little Makes" and "Likes." I would definitely read more from this author.
