DID NOT FINISH

Third person😭😭

This is probably the first Lucy Score book that I didn't love. It started out decent, and the story had promise, but the characters were just annoying AF.

Luke starts out as a sweetheart, and we quickly learn he's a closed-off mess and acts like a jerk to everyone to keep his secrets. When Harper rolls into town and gets herself into even more of a bind than she already is, he becomes her savior. But he's also a jack-@$$.

It's a small-town love story with plenty of drama, some laughs, some near-tear moments, and some steam. For most of the book, I wanted to slap Luke across the face, and Harper wasn't much better. I liked the side characters for the most part, and that's why I'll read the rest of the series.

3.25 stars, just didn't love it.

Invasions of privacy are a big ick.

Like it is unnecessarily spicy and the plot or carachter development I feel like it is from a bad disney movie (I like disney) and at the beginning was really good, but being honest I just finished because I already started

I reaaaally liked this book. There’s something about the way Lucy Score writes that just gets me. I did want to throw Luke in front of a bus at one point but he made up for it.

Okay I LOVE the writing style, I was hooked for the entire thing. Starts with LOTS of spice then leads to LOTS of sauce, I may need to read the rest of the books in the series now
