The first half of this book I loved. I think Harper is fun and has an interesting, heart wrenching back story. Luke was a heart warming home town hero. I also love the small town feel and all of Luke’s family and friends.
That being said I could not stand Luke by the end of this book. We spend more of this book reading about how much Luke loves Karen and will never be able to love Harper, and by the end I believed him. The way he treated Harper was horrible and just mean. The serenading apology? Awful. I have never wanted a couple to end up together less than these two. I love Lucy Score but this book was not it for me.

Giving this a 4.5 if I could! I was dying to know what would happen next with this book. I felt the passion through the pages. This is so close to being as good as Things We Never Got Over - the only critique is how quickly the main characters got close.
Part of me loved that because sometimes a slow burn isn't always what you're looking for. But another part of me wished I knew a little more about the characters before the beginning scene.
Great book, and incredibly helpful on my book hangover from Things We Never Got Over - if you need a remedy for that

Did not enjoy her taking over his life so enough to enjoy six months of it
Also just did not like plot overall
Weird
And beginning her moving in was so random weird
