Tears of Gold

I am torn about writing this review. I did genuinely like the story and the series this far however I feel like the grammar issues and inconsistencies are getting worse as the series continues. As I am reading I’m cringing at times and having to back read to make sure I read correctly.

Please read the trigger warnings at the beginning I f the book. This book at time made me laugh, at times cry and sometimes even cringe. This third storyline is beautiful and heartbreaking at times.

At the moment I think I will hold off on reading Dans story and go with a different book. Maybe once I shelve this for awhile I can come back with a different perspective.

Do I feel like the series is worth the read? Overall, yes.

Wow oh wow. What a great ending to this series! We get some much answered questions, tons of tears and HUGs. We get to see a family slowly become whole and Faith become free. I loved it and everything in it. I even loved it when I got mad at Eli and through all the pain that Dan put Faith through. But I loved it most because Faith finally found her strength. It's extremely sad knowing that there are young people going through that kind of pain every day. It's heartwarming knowing that there is a light on the other side of the tunnel with the right kind of help and strength. Loved this book, loved this series! *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*

This series has been so enjoyable to read and review. You start off with Tears of Ink and you go through a rollercoaster of emotions. You get to experience everything from joy to rage, so basically all the colors of the rainbow. Then you move onto Tears of Glass and you get to experience confusion. The second one is just all over the place due to Faith’s wishy washy behavior and personality quirks. But now that we move onto the third and final book for Faith and Eli and it’s just…..beautiful. The third book takes a typical turn of events for a couple in a romance novel. I saw this particular turn of events from a mile away. And while this point is an obscure one, if you look at the big picture, it’s an important part none the less. SPOILER ALERT: Grab a box of tissues and keep them close. They’re going to be needed for this one.
Faith and Eli just grow in this final book. Faith stops to confront her internal and external demons and she’s a warrior for it. Eli seems like the bad guy in particular sections; but again if you stop and look at the big picture, he’s actually trying to help Faith in his own way. I’ll be honest, I wanted to dick punch him with I reached a particular point. I felt like Anger from Inside Out when he’s reached his limit and literally blows fire out the top of his head. So basically, I felt like an erupting volcano. But after a few deep breaths, away from my IPad, I returned to try and understand Eli and his behavior. And it’s at this point that you’ll need your tissues. It’s about 75% in that I started bawling my eyes out and this continues until about the 90% mark. Serious tears, a few sobs, and a lotta deep breaths. There’s nothing worse than trying to read through blurry eyes because you just can’t stop crying. You go back to re-read section’s because you can’t read properly, which just brings on more tears. It’s an ugly cry moment folks, so brace yourselves for it.
I’ve enjoyed this series now that I’ve finished it. I’d most definitely go back and re-read if I were to be in a slump and stumbled back across it. There are times that I just wanted to walk away from the characters, because they were just trying my patience. But I’m telling you, if you just stick it out with Faith and Eli you won’t regret it. Going through the emotions with these two is a very beautiful experience. You get to watch them grow from two separate individual’s that are just going through the motions of what is expected of them, or what they think is expected of them. They’re just present in the world, now really making a difference. But by the end of the series you’ve watched them grow into who they are meant to be. You get to watch them prepare to make a real difference in the world. These two are seriously going to change many lives. And I feel so blessed to have been able to read and watch these individual’s grow. It’s been like watching a Rainbow Butterfly push out of its own little chrysalis. I’m now excited for the next one, Scars of Silk. Dan’s story is going to be a good one….I just know it.

The final book in this trilogy, and what a book it was, full of emotion, pulling you in from the start, holding your breath till the end, This lady can certainly write with passion, emotion, laughter, and everything in between, you are drawn in like you are there sharing Faith and Eli's journey, every heartbreak, every confession, every bit of happiness, every moment.

There is a lot going on in this book after the tragedy at the end of book two. Faith is determined to change the family, make them a family not a bunch of strangers passing in the night. Eli wants her to fight to be free from her past and fight she does for everything that she wants, and most of all she wants Eli.

As this book goes on you can see the change in everyone, even Connie, and its all for the better, this is all down to Faith.

I loved this series, the story it gives out is loud and clear! Congratulations Anna it was amazing, going to read Dan's story now.

Tears of Gold is bittersweet. It's the last book to this amazing series by Ms. Anna Bloom and it was incredible. Everything and more that was anticipated, but I am devastated that it's come to an end.

Elijah and Faith have wormed they're way into my heart and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it, their journey together. The good, the bad, and the ugly. It was truly amazing.

In the final book, we get some much-needed answers that have been nagging at me for a while now. We see these two come together and beat every obstacle that was thrown their way. It was certainly not an easy road for these two... I mean it really wasn't and at times the author had me wondering if we would even get this happily ever after. But like always, she delivered it and in a tremendous way.

Faith starts to become stronger, she starts being the person she was always meant to be, a fighter, a survivor. She is overcoming things from her past and I could notice a big change in her. I loved watching her grow, watching her get stronger and beat the monsters and demons from her present and her past. She is such a strong character and Ms. Broom created her perfectly.

I loved seeing how Elijah grew too, how Faith changed him and the way he was with her, these two were meant for each other and I knew that from the very beginning.

This was a phenomenal end to what is an amazing series, A MUST READ! Do not delay like I did. READ IT! You won't be disappointed.

On the return to Bowsley Hall, which she ran from, they have returned, but Elijah wants reassurance that they can survive it, everything will be on his shoulder with Peter gone. The reality that she was back and the Faircloughs showed what they wanted, what was underneath was different and she was going to become one. Elijah knows as soon as they announce their engagement, it will start again, because they didn’t pick Faith he did.
They fight everything that is thrown at them time and time again, but they are determined, and Faith isn’t who she was before and promised Elijah she wouldn’t run again, so she has no choice but to stay and fight.
They both have their own fears, but they have to overcome then with everything going on. They fight everything thrown at them to get their happy ever after ending. Amazing conclusion to the series.

I’m not crying. I’m not crying. Okay, I am, but that is what happens when you finish the final book involving some of the best characters that I have ever read. Elijah and Faith left imprints on my heart. Their struggles, their pain, their love, I was just totally submersed in all their emotions and if any characters in the literary world needed their happy-ever-after, then it is definitely these two. Ms Bloom's writing just stirs something deep inside me. Her storytelling is done with such ease, that she makes characters come to life in readers minds and souls and creates plots that have you gripped throughout. This is a series that I will recommend time and time again.

Tears of Gold is the final book in the Tears of… trilogy and it’s a great conclusion. With the first book, Tears of Ink, I was sucked deep into the story. With the second book, Tears of Glass, I was sucked in ever deeper. With this third book, Tears of Gold, I found myself happy with how everything played out in the end.

If you have yet to read the prior books, go back and do so. This is very much a series you need to read in order, where events build upon what happened in the prior books. If you dive into this one without the prior books, you’ll be confused and you’ll have all kinds of spoilers for Ink and Glass.

With Tears of Gold, we bring together all those open ends. There are a lot of things that needed to come together, and they do throughout Gold. Not only do we get answers, but we also get more drama, keeping us in the same edge-of-our-seats position we have remained in throughout the series. Even the predictable elements, the things that I wasn’t crazy about due to personal preference, had me turning the pages at a rapid pace.

Without a doubt, Tears of Gold was a great end to a wonderful series. I’m now desperately awaiting the spin-off books, as I need to see how other stories play out.
