Like a much more complicated and graphic Zoolander. Exactly what you'd expect from Bret Easton Ellis, black humour, unreliable narrator, unexpected twists, graphic sex and violence. I felt towards the end triple (quadruple?) agents could have been cut but enjoyed it over all.

If you like Bret Easton Ellis, you'll probably like this book. It's got his expected detached voice, camouflaged satire, and loathsome characters. The plot is unbelievable, but still totally fun.

Read this book. Then watch Zoolander. The plots of both are eerily similar.

After getting through the first half of the book, I was totally hooked. It took appt of concentration to read, but is worth the effort.
