In the beginning I felt that the book was moving fast, even though he was imprisoned for 14 years, but by the time he gets around to settling his revenge on his victims, that part is a  slow burn and it takes quite a while for the hammer to drop.

i found my new favorite book of all time. okay, maybe 2nd favorite. to think i was so scared of reading it for the longest time because of how chunky it is; as if finishing a book must be within a time limit and i'm not allowed to take my time with it is absurd. with that being said, i didn't even want to put the book down each time i picked it up, i had to force myself to do so, so i can enjoy reading it a bit longer.
absolutely would recommend if you like tales of sweet slow revenge and want a chunky big book to sink your teeth into.
