I liked reading about Maddison and Logan. I feel you can tell that it was written before the Windy City series, as her writing improved. The story is still good though.

I'll give this book 4.1 stars, I know it wasn't everyone's favorite but I liked it a lot, I connected with the main characters so much, so I'll give a simple description of how I connected with them.
First of all, Logan. She's been through a lot, she lost her parents and didn't grieve them, just kept everything to her and didn't have anyone until Marc. I can't blame her, I think that what most resonated with me was that she was taking care of everyone and everything and nobody was taking care of her.
Eli (Only Logan calls him for his name), playboy until he met Logan, selfish and pretty arrogant, but has a good heart, I felt connected to him in through his panic attacks and how the weight of the expectations can get to you.
I loved this couple when I read Mile High, so knowing their history is amazing, the only thing I could complain about this book is that I felt it was really long but I enjoyed, and starting the next book right away.

It was a cliché college Romance but I still loved it
After reading Mile High I was very excited to read about Eli and Logan but it was so clear Liz's writing evolved a lot since these books came out!

Comenzaré diciendo que odio el insta-love -creo que todos- y hay algo parecido aquí PERO sorprendentemente funciona, no es como si se declararan sus sentimientos desde el inicio ni nada, de hecho lo hacen hasta casi el final y creo que es por eso que funciona, cuando se conocen todo es un poco al estilo wattpad pero luego desarrollan una conexión tan tan fuerte (por traumas y comprensión) que hace todo creíble para que al momento donde se dicen “te amo” les crees, sabes que sus sentimientos son reales. Verdaderas almas gemelas aquí chicas. Eli es mi tipo de interés amoroso favorito, no tiene miedo de expresar su amor por ella y conscientemente quiere que ella se sienta amada, él da un giro total a su persona cuando la conoce, ella sacó la mejor versión de él y él le trajo esta felicidad a la vida de Logan después de perder a sus padres y quedarse SOLA en el mundo.
El found family es una de mis cosas favoritas para leer y ver como los Maddison adoptaban prácticamente a Logan y apoyaban su relación fue muy lindo, la amistad que tienen Logan y Marc me encanta, se aman demasiado y se protegen como hermanos

I loved loved loved Logan + Eli. Even in the moments where I wanted to physically shake Eli for being so dumb, I couldn't help but love him.
And then there's Ali + Marcus, who absolutely bring the most perfect badass bestie energy.
This one ends on a cliffhanger so I can't wait to see how their story continues in Staying Selfish.
