roman sur la sœur de l’autrice,  assassinée par son ex à 20 ans. Elle y retrace la vie de sa sœur, sa personnalité, ses liens amicaux et familiaux, et la période qui a précédé le féminicide. 
hommage intime et politique retracé à partir des documents de Liliana, très bien (écriture pas évidente au début mais maybe à cause de la traduction, ensuite ça devient + fluide)

This was challenging but so important to read. Seeing how author Cristina Rivera Garza honors the memory of her sister by recounting her final days is haunting but moving. I adored Liliana, and finished the book feeling like I had lost a dear friend and that the world had lost a beautiful soul. Cristina's recounting of the grief of losing a sibling is also one of the most accurate I've come across, while still being beautifully poetic and raw.

Don't come for me! The story is so important and should be told. The WRITING did it a major injustice. It's very disjointed and I feel like the story wasn't told WELL.

L'argomento è molto triste e commovente ma il modo giornalistico in cui l'autrice sceglie di raccontare ha tolto potere alla narrazione. Mentre ho apprezzato i racconti intimi dei familiari, le parti da inchiesta mi trascinavano via dall'emozione, così come i pezzi di diario. 
Con uno stile e una struttura diversi l'avrei amato di più.
