I wasn't a huge fan of some of the characters, but this is a nice lighter read. One definitely needs to read all three books to fully understand the Siders. I think the first book was a little difficult to follow at points, since something would happen and then time would just pass, but I wasn't quite sure where we were and what was happening. The second book made more sense and the third is where everything came together. The third is by far my favorite one, but you need to read the first two, since there isn't a lot of explanation in either the 2nd or 3rd books. You're dropped right back into the story in the sequels.

I really enjoyed it.
I should kick her but. She totally made me fall for the lead. I'm not going to give it away, but AAAAAZZZZZZ.
I normally like me books with open doors, but I really liked her characters and snark. You should take a look!
