This was a welcome break in my thesis research on Butler. Dispossession collects a series of conversations (mostly emails, according to the foreword) between Athena Athanasiou and Judith Butler, who are attempting to concretely apply Butler's theory of performativity to political activism. Mostly this is helpful in clarifying Butler's earlier work. Not super necessary reading, but an enjoyable read nonetheless.
