Pretty good side story around the Hope Summers/Phoenix Force. Captured a lot of the characters surprisingly well in writing, especially X-23 and Finesse. Considering the large number of characters involved in this story, it didn't seem like an accident when a character was front and center. And in some cases, like with Quicksilver, there part was even subtle but important. 4.5 of 5.

Laura is lovely. And I like Finesse. Phoenix Emma is my least favourite. Oh my gosh I nearly bit the page.

when I originally read this series online I didn't get as far as this arc so all of this was completely new to me. I really enjoyed this arc for a lot of reasons. But some of the top are, the interactions between the schools, the friendship/bonding of Finesse and X-23, and do I ship Ava and Juston, uh yeah.
Can't believe I'm almost done with this series.

I didn’t particularly care about this volume. I’m not at all interested in the X-Men, and I’m not sure how the story will progress from here.
