I was intrigued by the plot of this book only to get a little more than a hundred pages in and not be able to read any further due to it being mostly smut and uninteresting/weird attraction between the characters.

I remember before I started reading this book I saw a lot of mixed reviews about it. Me personally I ate this book right up. It was so hard for me to put it down but it had so many of the tropes that I love. Was there a plot? maybe, but probably no. I came for the characters and I stayed for the characters. I'm a sucker for stories where the villain gets the girl.

I had started to guess it was going to happen but was so disappointed when it turned out she was just a reincarnation of the previous love interesting, what little good character development was basically swept aside for this terrible "twist"

Isolde de Lara's world is ravaged by vampires. When the vampire king, Adrian Aleksandr Vasiliev, asks for her hand in marriage, her father immediately rejects it. However, Isolde knows this is the best decision for her people. As she travels to the vampire's kingdom, she finds herself strangely drawn to him.

I absolutely LOVED this book. Enemies to lovers perfection. I love the fact that Isolde is not afraid to stand up for herself, shes such a badass.

I must admit, the writing isn't the best, but goddam is it fun. I was able to lose myself in this story and read it in one sitting. Also, Adrian is so hot!!! Hes the -hurt her and ill kill you- type of guy.
I also really enjoyed the side character and their relationships, so cute.
So sexy and fun!
