Solid looking collection of recipes for during and after cancer treatment. Arranged by symptoms to make it a bit easier to find what you're looking for, but they are still a bit jumbled together in the book and mixed throughout.

-> Not great for gluten-free options outside of soups or some of the more simple egg or veggie dishes, a lot of stress on whole wheat everything and strong tendency to scold "low fiber choices." Would be nice to see this updated with GF options for those who are not comfortable making their own substitutions.

-> A lot of diet/weight loss "advice" uncritically thrown in here, which was super disappointing. Was really weird to see it used this way in a book that should be full of more science-based health information rather than anti-fat parroting. (IE: the myth of 10,000 steps or the 90s' awful diet take of FAT IS VERY BAD FOR YOU.)
