This was a sweet, romantic story. The second book in the Holly Pointe series, but can definitely be read as a standalone.

Neither Faith nor Graham was looking for a relationship when Graham arrived in Holly Pointe with his two girls, Charlotte, and Hannah in tow. The twins added some lighthearted fun to this story.

The theme was basically about keeping a balance in your life. Graham needed to learn how important family and friends are in life. He also discovered how much he needed a special someone in his life.

Hannah was also unknowingly on her own path to discovery. To learn that it was ok for her to be ambitious. To decide that mixing her ambition, her special someone, and his kids were just what she needed in her life.

Holly Pointe and Candy Canes truly was a heartwarming holiday romance. There was minimal angst, and loads of good feelings. All about love, loyalty, friendship, and compromise, and how everything works out for an HEA.

I would give this book 4.5 stars. I really wish it had an epilogue, instead of ending where it did.

I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

The thing I love about Cindy Kirk is that she brings us into a small town life and it feels real. Holly Pointe is a east coast small town. They happen to love Christmas. When Graham arrives in town with his young daughters with the intention of spending the month with his late wife’s mother, he suddenly finds himself in need of a new place to stay. Enter Faith, who lives in the house that happens to be the hub of all the Christmas festivities. Over the next month, as Graham works on an ad campaign that failed back in the city, he gets closer to Faith and begins to see a life slowed down. A place where family and friends have greater meaning. And maybe even fall in love.

I definitely enjoyed a new small town and characters. This is the second book featuring Holly Pointe and it was a welcome return. At times I felt like the romance was moving super fast, but overall I enjoyed the book and look forward to any other adventures in Holly Pointe. It was a great way to start the holiday season.

I received an advance copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Oh Cindy Kirk you always know how to pull at the heart-strings and make me fall in love with all your characters. This is the perfect heart warming, Hallmark movie style, Christmas book! Holly Pointe is a town I want to visit and live in. The small town feel and camaraderie of everyone is perfect and you just want to dive right in, as well as shed a few tears along the way. This was the perfect read to start the holidays with, thank you Cindy!

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it. Does Holly Pointe have a lot of a real estate because I think I want to move there! I love the quaint small town vibe and festive feel of this country village. I love that a person, a family, can visit and suddenly feel right at home. And that, too, is how Graham felt visiting his mother-in-law with his two young daughters. It was that same familiarity that led Faith to open up a space for Graham to live - both in a house and in her heart. Holly Point and Candy Canes tells the romance between Graham and Faith, as well as incorporates known characters from Holly Pointe & Mistletoe. As per Ms. Kirk's usual style, her characters are realistic in their mannerisms, behaviors, and flaws. The town and residents have a way of drawing in the reader to feel as though he/she is right there in the middle of the story. If you're looking for a sweet, holiday-inspired romance, this is the book to read!

Cute, light, easy Christmas read.

Faith and Graham meet when he brings his young daughters to town to visit their grandmother.

The town is called Holly Pointe and it’s basically Christmas central.

Graham has been so busy at work since his wife died that his daughters are basically being raised by their nanny. He loves them, he’s not a bad dad, he’s just very busy.

He’s busy now too. He plans to visit his deceased wife’s mother and spend a month. He knows she’ll enjoy her time with the kids and it will give him lots of free time to work on an important campaign for work.

When he arrives, he meets Faith. He’s lucky he does too, because his brother-in-law has made a surprise visit and now Graham has no place to stay.

Faith offers to rent him the top floor of her grandmother’s home. The only warning is that the lower level will be noisy because it’s the epicenter of Christmas center. People in town meet up for baking classes, for tree decorating, etc etc. it’s absolutely adorable. Add in the fact that Graham has 5 year old twin daughters and you have a perfect place for them to stay.

This Christmas brings the potential for something new into the lives of Faith, Graham and his daughters. It gives the adults time to decide what they really want in life.

Nice story, it was very easy to read on a lazy Saturday.
