A continuation of the Nora Kelly series, I appreciate all the settings since I live in Santa Fe and recognize many of the places mentioned in the book! I also am loving the combination of Nora and Cory working together and I’m looking forward to more in the series!

What a thrill-ride! Preston and Child do not disappoint. I received a copy of this book from a Goodreads giveaway in exchange for an honest review. The plot moves along at a good clip, and I enjoyed the continued development of the main character. The desert setting is interesting, as is the subject of Area 51 and Roswell, NM. And of course, I love learning details about archaeology.

Again, it wasn't "Thunderhead" and after reading this I don't think we'll ever have another Nora Kelly book as devoted to the archaeology and history as that was.
And this story went *way* left field.
Steven Spielberg would be proud.
It was a good adventure story but I'm still sad that archaeology and history is taking a big backseat.

This felt like an official jumping of the shark in the series. What started as a grounded archeological mystery series that can always be explained by science seems to have just been dumped for the supernatural.
I'm curious how they would keep this series going but I'm unsure if I'll take the time to find out
