Reyna and Kianthe are finally ready to tie the knot, but this wedding isn’t only about celebrating their love, it’s also about planning a coup. After being approached by Locke, Queen Tilaine’s spy master, Reyna realizes that having a paranoid maniac as a ruler is not the best for the Queendom, and she agrees to help depose her. But in order to lure the Queen to the wedding, they have to survive the mayhem of the visiting baby dragons, and find and convince the Queen’s half sister to take the throne--and Reyna must meet Kianthe’s parents. Will the Arcandore and the Queen’s Guard be able to walk down the aisle, or will everything be ruined--including the coup?
This book followed in the footsteps of the previous two, being a light and breezy lesbian fantasy filled to the brink with puns. I loved the attitudes of the baby dragons, Gold Coin and Pillbug, and how Ponder, Reyna’s growing gryphon, was constantly trying to boss them around. Reyna and Kianthe continuing to help Bobbi and Serina was also pretty cute, and I like how it showed how much work a relationship takes. Kianthe’s and Reyna’s own relationship was very sweet, and I really liked how they helped each other and worked with each other. And I thought Reyna handled Kianthe’s mother really well, working with her and helping reassure her about the future. Plus, the presents the girls give each other are absolutely perfect for each one! The drama at the wedding was really my favorite part, both proving how awesome dragons are and how unstable Tilaine is, confirming the necessity of the coup. The ending was quite the cliffhanger--especially with that teaser for the next book! I honestly cannot wait for book 4!

I absolutely love this series! This third book in the quartet is not as memorable as the other 2, but I loved being reunited with the characters and really enjoyed how they got around to resolving the main issue of this tome. I'm anxiously awaiting the next installment!

I really enjoyed all the politicking in the book, probably the best one. I thought it was a trilogy so was very confused with the end - looking forward to the fourth book in the series.

I can't find the characters to be serious or see any risk in their situation. I kind of feel like I can only care for the plot as much as they do, and I'm not actually curious anymore to see how this series ends.
