I don't know why I keep listening to this series. I don't love it. At this point, I think I just want to hear more about the little dragons. I believe that the plot went faster/smoother in this book. But the push to include every type of person in the LBGTQIA+ seems so forced...like....REALLY forced. I am all for inclusion but it is a bit of an eye roll in this book.

Kind of sad that I gave the first book 5 stars and it's been going downhill since. I kind of four kianthe insufferable at times and the way they

treated their wedding? For them to have gotten married in secret is kind of annoying

I also don't really like how political the book got

like sure overthrowing the queen fine but Rena getting it?? Nah that's just taking a hard left with the book

and I also can't believe there is still one more?? Argh.
