emotional lighthearted medium-paced

I really enjoyed this one, more than the second definitely. I thought the plot was more intriguing and it was fun being in Tawney the entire book, and I loved that this was a Reyna focused crisis book. The world building elements were also very fun and I was moderately impressed at how much things tied back to prior stories - there's just a level of foreshadowing I didn't expect from this type of story. Really looking forward to the final book!

Cute as usual, with political moves that are incomprehensible. I like all the pairings, though, and I loved some of the focus on more friendly love and even reconciliation here. I'm reading it for the easily consumable fluff, and I got it, with hints of adventure.

The third book in the Tomes and Tea series and another wonderful addition to the world. This is one of those books were SO much interpersonal stuff happens and very little action, BUT you are sucked in the entire time. These characters you've fallen in love with over two other books are still growing and fighting for a life of happiness, but not just for themselves.
The political intrigue POPS OFF in this book and gives us one of the most exciting book weddings and DON'T get me started on that cliffhanger!!!!! I was not prepared for that ending and having to wait for the final book to come out.
