Hot and steamy and everything you would expect based on the cover and blurb.

This is a very different BDSM book from what I read usually! When I knew it was a female dom book I was intrigued and interested in reading more about it! All the bdsm books I have read were quite dark but this completely changed my view. It showed BDSM lifestyle in the normal lifestyle.

I have always loved when women in books took charge and I loved Beth! She is amazing! I have a huge girl crush on her and Drew is the sweetest guy I have ever met!He was caring and really understanding person and I would love to have him as my Sub! Ha! kidding! but he is a perfect man who knows what he wants and goes for it and makes people just swoon over him! he being a sub doesn't make him weak but a very strong man who is quite cool and eager and knows what he likes!

I will definitely be reading more books by Sherri!!

It was going to be a 4⭐ book but I'm docking it to 3.5⭐. Mostly because Beth's indecision with the relationship really got on my nerves towards the end of the story. I understand that she'd been hurt before but for the love of Christ..... Things just got really repetitive. I also wanted a little bit more drama with the ex and the arson storyline

Other than that, it was a pretty tame story (in the BDSM aspect) and more of a romance than I had initially anticipated it to be

My Rating: 4 Stars

BDSM stories are one of my favorite picks when it comes to reading, specially when I know the author can manage to bring relatable / realistic characters to life in a way that I enjoy.

Beth was a strong female that had one of the most important element in a D/s relationship, her trust, broken by her own submissive. During the story you see her struggling with the strong way Drew feels about her and how she is trying to go slow. Not always that goes like it should be because Drew can be very convincing *wink*

Drew is a relentless character that once he set his mind that Beth and him are not only having good chemistry but they also are really good together over all, he wants her... for the rest of his life. He struggles with his submissive tendencies in the bedroom but he's sure she can show him what it means to submit and enjoy it.

The sexy scenes in this book are not few, on the contrary, there is a lot of sexy involve but the story revolves around the characters and not so much about the sex, even when the sex is part of it, is not all. What I mean is that the meat and bones of this beautiful novel is the relationship and the development of Beth and Drew. It doesn't hut that the sexy scenes between them are over the top explosive and mind-boggling *grin*

In the writing department I think Sherri Hayes has done a great job portraying realistic and relatable characters, with a vocabulary that doesn't leave the reader trying to look the meaning of anything outside of the simple context of the sentences when it's used. I didn't notice any problems at all and the flow of the story was fluent for me, so much so that I finished the book before I was ready for the end.

I read Welcome to Serpent's Kiss in 2016 and really enjoyed it, now I can say I also really enjoyed Burning for Her Kiss. I can also say I'm dying to read Longing for His Kiss that comes out November 2nd.
